Having recently joined the great Governing Body at Parklands School, I am excited about getting involved in the life of the school and how we might work together in building on the fabulous links between the school and the wider community.
My current role as Children & Families Pioneer Minister at the Church of the Good Shepherd provides me with the privilege to work within the local schools in Havering and build on the relationships with the different pupils, staff and families from within our community. This also affords me the opportunity to become involved in the life at Parklands by taking assemblies and engaging with the pupils and staff in number of exciting projects, including the Colour Project exploring the history of Collier Row and its local residents and supporting the local Foodbank too. All of this experience I believe helps provide valuable insights on how I might be a better Governor and serve Parklands School and its wider community more effectively.
Finally, I have no business or financial interest that impact my role as a governor and I also serve as a Governor at Clockhouse Primary School too.
